Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges Project
Austral Construction was contracted to perform marine works for the Causeway Link Alliance Bridge Project, focusing on the installation of bridge headstocks.
Our scope included the installation of both permanent and temporary piles, precast pile caps with reinforcing cages, and the heavy lift of bridge components such as pylons and deck segments. Utilising our engineering expertise and the M16000 Maxer crane, we assisted with the engineering lift up to 185T at 16m. The piles were driven to the required depth with the Pilbara 100 Jack-up barge and specialised equipment like IHC Hydrohammer and ICE Vibratory Hammers. Pile caps were installed using the M16000 crane on our flexi float barge. All works were completed without disrupting channel operations, showcasing our capability in marine construction and piling services.
